Uploading Photos

I'm trying to Insert/Upload photos to my LifeStyle Theme page(s).

When I upload the image to the Media Library, it is not visible in the gallery. Only the name of the image appears.

The image does not show when inserting it into a page. It's showing the frame with the image title but no dice with the actual image.

I know this is elementary stuff for most of you but any help is much appreciated it.

It definitely should not be this difficult so I'm definitely missing something.
