best way to edit home page

Ok - trying this again. Have a person that needs to edit the - home.php - http://www.greenwoodchristians.com

Instead of using a HTML/PHP editor, is it possible for a user to edit the home page file (home.php) from within WordPress?

Because of the homepage widgets that are being used, it would be difficult to recreate the home page as another page & use with the static page feature.

Please advise - MUCH thx...
