Need anchor text link in my widget

Hey Guys,

Working on a site for my client and I need to add links in the widgets on the home page.

I want the links to be anchor text. I have tried this but it does not work....

Anchor Text

Each widget will talk about a different page or blog post and I want clients to click the links to go to pages and posts ...

make sense?
