Adverts in Sidebar

I saw in the demo of the magazine theme there were block adverts in the sidebar.

Now, is there a suitable advert 'plugin' I should use with this theme, or should i just do an image and a link html job in the code? Especially if I want them to rotate with each refresh...?

And also - can the thin ads in between posts etc be made to rotate with this theme? E.g more than one coded for each spot?
