I'd appreciate any troubleshooting help since I'm fairly new to WordPress.
I have a new website at http://luxurytravelmavens.com I'm running WordPress 3.4.1, Genesis 1.8.2, and Backcountry theme 1.0.1. I am trying to set up my navigation menu across the top of the page and as I try to add new sub-categories, I'm getting this error: Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /home/andrearh/public_html/luxurytravelmavens.com/wp-includes/nav-menu.php on line 604 The line number changes each time. My host is Hostgator and I'm on a shared Linux server and they won't increase the timeout limit in the php file. They say I have to move to a VPS or dedicated server in order to have that type of control. However, I think the problem is somewhere in Genesis or the theme. I'm running these plugins: Akismet Blogger importer Contact Form 7 FancyBox for WordPress Genesis Featured Widget Amplified Genesis Responsive Slider Genesis Simple Edits Genesis Single Post Navigation Google Analytics for WordPress Really simple Facebook Twitter share buttons Simple Social Icons Twitter Widget Pro WodPress Database Backup WordPress Editorial Calendar WordPress SEO Wp-PageNavi wp-Typography WPtouch Any advice on how I can fix this error? Thank you! |
