Featured Content Gallery & WordPress 2.5.1

Hello, I am using the Chrome theme with WordPress version 2.5.1 and am not able to get the 'Featured Content Gallery' working. I have checked and double checked settings as well as tried deactivating plugins but nothing seems to work. I have managed to get everything working in another site running Wordpress 2.8. - is the 2.5.1 thing the problem? (I thought I'd check this before just going ahead and upgrading the version of Wordpress) - Thank you
