Hi
I've been using Genesis/Studio Press for a few years and have never had this problem. Last week, I set up a new site http://theopinionatednation.com When I look on Google to see how it appears, it shows a long list of my archives of either my categories or tags. https://www.google.com/search?q=the+...hrome&ie=UTF-8 The site name and description is pushed down to the bottom of the Google page. Bizarre. Have NO idea why. I have all of my sites set up the same although this is the first time I've used the Eleven40 theme, but I'm sure that's not the issue. When I search for the site on Bing or Yahoo, it comes up fine. No archives. Why is this happening -- I don't have an overabundance of categories and actually have 3 times as many on one of my other sites and this doesn't happen. I went through my analytics and it is showing that Google is indexing my links, but I'm finding it tough to even find them with all of these archive pages butting in. Could be that Google sees it as a double post? Fortunately one of my first articles this week got over 25,000 pvs after going viral on Facebook, but I'm used to a lot more Google love. Help? ![]() Thanks! |
