Default More Tag
I have 3 widgets on my main page that display a Featured Image and brief excerpt about the page. How can I make it so the text above the <!--more--> tag does NOT display whenever the actual page is loaded individually.

For instance, I want just a brief excerpt about the page on the main page and then a Continue Reading link will lead them to the actual page with more detail. However, I do NOT want that brief excerpt to show up when the page is loaded individually.

Is there any way to do this?
