possible to show small graphics on front page?

Hi,

Is it possible to have the graphic show in the 'excerpt' of a blog post?

In the column under the Featured Content Gallery picture, in the Category for 'Positive Attitude', I would like the graphic to show on the first page as well as in the main blog post , topic: Feeling Low- A Bike Ride Can Help.

I've made that post a 'sticky post' and it would make the page more interesting if I could have about 4 posts which show a small graphic on the first page.

One more thing I'd like to do which is probably more suited to go on a Wordpress forum than here ( sorry if I'm wrong) , is it possible to put a 'Leave a Comment' link to comment boxes on a PAGE ?

I know they are automatically included in a blog post, but I can't see how to have them available to click on a PAGE.
