Default Ready to make changes but still at the basic level of learning

A few months ago I purchased Genesis and Prose Child Theme. I set up my website/blog as best as I could having no experience. Now I'm ready to make changes. I haven't played around a lot with the website simply because I find it confusing. I believe the reason for that is that I'm more a visual person where being able to see videos that explain what things mean would help me considerably.

Some of the changes I am ready to make, are making my header wider and higher... adding a new page that will be for business to sell products that will link to another site and playing around with fonts, colours etc. Where do I even start? What tutorial or videos can you direct me to? Do I start with Genesis Tutorials or Prose Theme Tutorial or something else?
