Default Page navigation on Next Page tag

Hi, the site I'm working on (sorry, behind maintenance mode) is using the NextPage tag to break long pages in more shorter pages. Genesis automatically generates a page navigation with numbers.
I found this link in codex to alter the output:
http://codex.wordpress.org/Styling_Page-Links

But how to alter the output in Genesis. I would like something like:
<< 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | >>
so if there are a lot of pages, only 5 numbers are shown
The designer also like to style the numbers, so if there is a way to add a class to the normal numbers and to the active page, that would be great

NB I'm talking about pages... not archive pages for posts
