I'm having a ton of trouble moving a devlopment site for a client from a subdirectory to the root. It's here.
http://managedairsystems.com/dev
I've followed wordpress's tutorial here
http://codex.wordpress.org/Moving_WordPress
where I've changed the blog and site URL address and deleted the /dev. Then I downloaded all the files to my comp and uploaded to the root. The url structure looks fine afterwards, but I'm getting a 404 error on everything except the homepage. (with cache cleared)
I also tried downloading the tables in the database, doing a find and replace for /dev and then reuploading. This doesn't work either. This has to be something wrong with the database and I can't figure it out. Or is this a Genesis issue?
Am I supposed to create another database for the root? It doesn't seem to be pulling anything except the homepage unless it's in the /dev folder
Any help please? Also does somone have an easier way to create and move development sites with wordpress?
Thanks,
Kevin
