Any more support for Social Eyes theme?

It appears the Social Eyes theme has been retired. Does this mean there is no more support for it? I wanted to use it for a new site I'm building.

Why do themes change completely? Why not just add new ones. I noticed the 'Going Green' theme is now completely different too.
