Is Lizatom shortcodes plugin OK with Genesis?

There's a package Lizatom's shortcode plugin being offered at present. It seems to offer a lot of jQuery addons such as adding buttons, tooltips, boxes, quotes, columns etc for a low price. Is it likely to cause problems or slow a site down?

The link is below - I apologise I'm not trying to promote it - I would just like someone with more technical experience to suggest whether I should buy it or not.

The free plugin Shortcodes-Ultimate does a similar sort of job for free - which is probably the one I'll go for as if it doesn't work I can just remove it.
