broken html tags in comments

When I add in an html tag on other blogs, it works fine. Such as this:

<a href="http://www.reasonstoskipthehousework.com">Reasons To Skip The Housework</a>

So, I did a post on how to add a hyperlink to your blog in comments. Problem is,
when people do that same tag in comments on my blog, they are broken. I'm noticing that WP changes the html somehow. What am I doing wrong?

I've fixed the first few comments' links so they work but you can look at the last comment from Terri: A Creative Princess to see the error you get when clicking her link.
