Responsive Slider

Is it possible to put a slider in Genesis that instead of linking to a page you can link to an external link?

What I would like to do is showcase products on the slider and if a user clicks on it, it will take them to my online store page that has that product.

or

The slider just has pictures, no text and does not have to be clickable.

I would like to see if either option is configurable.
