Child Theme Suggestion

A client wants a very specific look for their website and the only theme I could find with the right look is Glider from Elegant Themes. The backend is crap (it can't use WordPress's native Menus) and the documentation and support forum is an absolute nightmare. Based on the other comments in the support forum, I'm not the only one who likes the look but hates everything else.

So I'm throwing a challenge out to our awesome StudioPress community: don't just build another portfolio child theme that looks the same as 5 other ones, build a different child theme one that looks like this.
