Genesis and security

Hi there

I'm just wondering if someone can point me towards information regarding how Genesis handles security. I keep reading about how secure Genesis is but I can't find any information about what it actually handles in terms of WP security.

I've just spent a bucket load of time learning how to secure WP with the WP Security Checklist and Jeff Starr's 5G Blacklist but I would like to know what Genesis does to secure WP so I can avoid replicating techniques that are already handled by the Genesis core.
