I have read through how to enqueue javascript in the WordPress codex http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_...enqueue_script, and done several experiments, but I don't fully understand how this works with Genesis.
I'm unclear about these things: 1. If I add javascript links to the head using the Genesis theme settings panel, does Genesis automatically use the WordPress enqueue function? 2. What is the best way to enable the in-built WordPress jQuery library through Genesis? 3. If I only want the javascript on one template rather than throughout the theme, what is the best way to add it in Genesis? 4. Is it ok to add javascript within the Loop without enqueuing? I'd be very grateful to anyone who can help. |
