SEO and H1 Tags

I've been researching a lot on SEO lately (my brain is now much ... so much info) and one of the gurus said to have one H1 tag per page and load that with your keywords for that page.

My question is should I update the Genesis code so the page title is the H1?

I'm using Yoast's SEO plugin.
