GenesisConnect & BuddyPress issues

I am using the Genesis Framework with a custom child theme. I have installed GenesisConnect and BuddyPress. Here are the issues I am encountering. Some help please.

1) On the Genesis Connect Settings page I am getting the following warning message: Warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'genesis_theme_settings_scripts' was given in /xxxxx/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 403

Can someone please advise me as to what this means and how I can correct it?

2) I am able to register new users and view profiles, however I am unable to complete friend requests or post anything. When I view members and click "Add friend" the link disappears, is replaced by the number 0 and the connection is not made. When I view the number of friends I have, the new connection is not there. This is also what happens when try to make a social media post. My text disappears, is replaced by a 0 and the post is not made.

Is this something you can help with or is this something I should ask the folks at BuddyPress about?

3) I want to tweak the style of the BuddyPress section of the site. Which CSS file do I update so that it doesn't get overwritten? Do I update the core style.css? I'm new to this BuddyPress/GenesisConnect thing. Any help would be appreciated.
