Moving the Wordpress/DB

Hello there,

Just a quick question really. Now I have tested the allure theme and happy with it. I want to build the site on my actual server (where by ill start from scratch again) However, I was planning on building it in a sub-folder til its ready to go live and then move it to the primary location once ready.

so www.domain.com/allure would be the install folder, once ready I want that to change to www.domain.com

Hope that make sense, is this possible? I cant afford to take down the old site while I build the new one?
