Default Most Recent Google Algorithm Updates.

Recently Google instituted a couple of algorithm changes. Well my sites took a dive. There is all kinds of speculation.

But really I wonder if using Genesis is part of it (not that Genesis is bad or anything)

What I mean is since the homepage really has no unique content, its essentially just widgets with content and images from posts/pages. Also there is alot of talk about the new page layout algorithm, and well genesis child themes have big sliders which means the content is below the fold.

I'm not blaming Genesis at all! Just wondering other people's thoughts on the matter.

NOT!
