Change background color of dropdown menu

Hello!

Just wondering which bit of CSS Code I'd use to change the color of the drop down menus? Not looking to change the Nav Bar (I know how to do that) but rather the drop down menus that appear when you hover over an item in the nav bar.

(both code for unselected and when you hover over the drop down items would be helpful :) )
