A special dynamic sidebar widget only on startpage

We installed it on Sidebar Top, my question is only where I can put my script, to stop this widget to become viewed on other sites. Should I do it directly in the Widget Class, where args get parsed (register_sidebar) or can I do it on a better way?

I don't need a solution, just only a tip...I'm fit in php, but I don't work often with WP.

Thx a lot for your help....
