Adding Youtube Video

I don't mean to sound too clueless, but , I have tried to load a youtube video in the "revolution options" section and supply the embedded youtube URL. I still can't seem to get it to show up.. Do I have to edit the functions.php or sidebar.php in order to make this work? Also, where can I find any videos, i,e, camtasia videos, etc, that show how to edit the revolution city theme and make any changes...
