Default vti files

Hi,

I am rather perplexed with this.

Many of the php files seem to have just this info on.

vti_encoding:SR|utf8-nl
vti_timelastmodified:TR|16 Jul 2009 02:37:06 -0000
vti_extenderversion:SR|5.0.2.4803
vti_cacheddtm:TX|16 Jul 2009 02:37:06 -0000
vti_filesize:IR|1055
vti_backlinkinfo:VX|

When I delete them the theme still works fine. However I cannot customise anything.

Do you think this is a server side issue?

I tried adding the normal footer.php file content on and changed the links, but the changes are not apperaing on the page?

Titus
