Are widget items like categories, blogroll, and archives already built in to the design of the left sidebar?
What happens to these items if you start assigning new widgets to the left sidebar? Will this cancel the items that are assigned there by default? Here is a sample page where the left sidebar items seem to have been assigned by defualt. http://www.globalnewsblog.com/wp/category/economy/ Thanks for your help with this. Alan F. ISSUE RESOLVED THROUGH FURTHER EXPERIMENTATION. I experimented with the left sidebar widget and found that if you add any widget to the left sidebar using the WordPress widget feature the default left sidebar items disappear. Thanks. |
