Format font colour, size, links confusion

Hi

I have upgraded from Wordpress 2.3.3 and using the Revolution News theme to 2.8.4 and now using the Agent Theme.

It all went pretty well and I have been doing some amendments to written content and tidying up
However after upgrading I have noticed some odd font changes

Can you help me out please
Here is a page sample of the challenges I am having

Essentially this text was originally black font and now red
" Laws relating to residential tenancies vary between states and territories and your property manager or local real estate agent will be able to direct you to the relevant legislation. "

These hyperlinks were the same uniform size through out and now a large font size

· Australian Capital Territory
· New South Wales
etc

Now other hyperlinks are either in bold (others not) and the font is larger
eg Australian Capital Territory – Residential Tenancies Act 1997 (ACT)

I have tried editing in word document or e-mail html format and then republishing and no luck
I have deleted the page and then create a new page

Some of the format changes and is acceptable and some the same problem

My goal is to have all the font in black or dark grey and all same size and no need for different coloured font

Can you help me out please

Have been trying for about 2 hours to fix and stuck
