Front Page Featured Category - Adding an RSS link and author

Hi :)

How would I go about adding a rss link in the top right of each featured category box on the home page? I have also manually added 2 featured content blocls for extra categories under the 2 that can be added in the theme options.

Secondly, in the same featured category blocks, I need to add the author name under the post title - is there a quick and dirty way to do this?
