RSS and Twitterfeed

I have been using Ping to send posts to Twitter, but I would prefer to use Twitterfeed (via Feedburner) to do this.

The feed seems to work fine on it's own or within Feedburner but gives an error on Twitterfeed: "A feed needs to contain publish dates or GUIDs in order to work with twitterfeed".

I get this error whether using the Feedburner URL or the direct URL.

Any suggestions?!
