Exclude Pages from Menu

Hello Everyone,
I remember that you can have certain pages exist on your website, but exclude them from showing up in the navigation menu. I think it was a matter of editing one of the editor files but I do not remember which one, nor do I remember the code.

I have a plug in that gives me page IDs, so I can put that in the code to exclude pages, but can someone please refresh my mind for the exact exclude code and which file to edit? Thanks!
