How to get thumbnails to show?

1. Does anyone know how I'll be able to get thumbnails to show on http://savemoneysydney.com/lifeandeconomics/ and every other similar category pages?

It seems that when I click on the categories, I get a whole list of blog entries but no thumbnails.

2. Does anyone know how I'll be able to have a full blog showing with the excerpts for other posts under that full post after clicking on a category? For example, when I click on category A, I would like one post to show as a full post with image and etc...and below this post will be excerpts of other posts in the same category.
