thumbs on wpmu or sub domain

anybody get thumbs to work on wp mu? i tried with the sub-domain (http://motel-for-sale.tmoindustries.com) ( still testing, no content) and the domain mapping tool i use with mu for top level i.e. motel-for-sale.net

i also messed with the file path per the tutorial.

any help would be appreciated
