Show full posts for certain categories

Wondering how I can show full posts for certain categories. Specifically, I want to show full posts when clicking on "Blog" "Design Bookstore" and "resources" from header (not from main section of homepage). But, I don't want to change the posts style on the homepage. Is this do-able?
