When customizing the homepage, one thing you will need to do is setup the Featured Content Gallery plugin.

Step #1
Download the plugin and then upload it to your wp-content/plugins/ directory on your server.

Step #2
Activate it from within your WP dashboard. Once the plugin is activated, click the Settings tab in your WP dashboard, and then select Featured Content Gallery from the sidebar menu.

Step #3
Follow the install & setup instructions, and make special note that you must have a minimum of two posts using the custom field key for any images to show up on the homepage. If you have any questions regarding the plugin, you can ask in the support forum.

Note: You do NOT need to add the FCG code to the Theme as it is already there.
