Video Player Site with Restricted Access by Users

I need to build a site for some company training materials and lessons. For the lessons, we want to restrict access to materials for lessons the user has not yet attained. That means that we need to restrict access to certain pages based upon the level of the user (let's say we'll have 20 levels). Is there any infrastructure built into the studiopress themes and/or wordpress that would make this possible? Any plugins?
