How to change the default logo?

Hello,

What is required to change the default logo within the Revolution City theme?

I know in wp-content/themes/revolution_city_gray-10/images there is a file named logo.gif

I replaced the this file, named it logo.gif with the same dimensions and nothing.

Any help would be amazing.
