changed post title - how to redirect ..or otherwise solve?

Hello,

I have changed the name of 2 posts on the site of a local business in uk, because I realised that the keyword I was using, which was in the title, was in fact only used in us - and not at all in uk (doh!)

The page for this keyword is on google page 2, and when I checked it today, I saw that it was coming to a 404 error page. I thought that by updating the permalinks that it would mean it would 'know' that that was the same page, but obviously it doesn't work like that...

What's the best way to solve this please??
