Problem With Image and Text Spacing

I'm configuring a WordPress site with the Agent 3.0 theme, and I've been setting it up using WAMP as my testing server offline. But I'm having image alignment problems.

Whenever I insert an image into a post, I'm then unable to space the text or images without having to embed CSS styles in the actual post. I tried added a clear property to some of the image and text style rules in style.css, but that didn't solve the problem.

I'd appreciate any input on how to solve this issue.
