Top Nav Bar - Adding Twitter/Facebook link

I am trying to find out how to add a link to other sites like Twitter/Facebook etc. How do I add something other than the RSS feed.

I found in Header.php the <div top nav bar right - what I dont know is how to put the icon in and make it link external.
