Default iPhone Safari Broken Font Size

Hi everyone,
I've been pulling my hair out with this one and was hopeful someone can help. I'm working on a reskin of Church and noticed an anamoly on the iphone in regards to the .hpfeatured on the home page.
Code:
.hpfeatured {
	background: #FFFFFF url(images/featuredtop.gif) top no-repeat;
	float: left;
	width: 280px;
	margin: 0px;
	padding: 10px 10px 10px 10px;
	border: 1px solid #DDDDDD;
	}
If the width property is adjusted to anything past 320px, the fonts (heading and paragraph) in the "homepageleft" "homepageright" and "homepagebottom" scale up. They still respect "font-size" style adjustments though they are constantly proportionally bigger. I even divided the left and right featured columns into their own styling yet if the column is styled wider than 320 problems begin. I originally thought the content was breaking out of the <div> due to padding or margin errors yet removing or adjusting the values have no impact.

This reskin of the theme displays the error I'm seeing:

On the phone, the "Specializing in Downtown Seattle Condominium Sales" and "Featured" are over sized.

I've worked with the pages in all the modern browsers and everything is fine. It just seems to affect Safari on the iphone. Thoughts?

Thanks!
