Default Quicksearch displays a different look

for example, the front page shows an articled called Home Sales Surge – Tax Credits Help First-Time Buyers with a real estate icon to the left.
http://halfonproperties.com

when I click on [Read more about this property...], the page looks like this.
http://halfonproperties.com/blog/tax-credits/

and when I select Real Estate News from the Quick Search drop down menu, the page looks like this and there is no border as created in img.alignleft as shown in the stylesheet.
http://halfonproperties.com/blog/category/renews/

img.alignleft {
float: left;
padding: 4px;
margin: 0px 10px 10px 0px;
display: inline;
border: 1px solid #C0C0C0;
}

I don't get it.
