Wordpress + PHPbb

Hello everyone and congratulations on the new company and themes! Way to go!

I'm trying to solve the problem for making wordpress and phpbb work together, and it seems that this website makes this in a prefect way. There was a project called WP_united, trying to combine wordpress and phpbb together, but it was discontinued and doesn't support the new wordpress versions. Several attempts have been made to continue the project, but none of them is 100% polished.

anyway, what I'm interested in is doing a cosmetic match between wordpress and phpb. especially the header integration. I don't need the users integration at all. I was wondering how it's done on this site. Can I use the wordpress header for phpbb? do I need to them to be on the same database or something like that? any tips in this direction will be great. I'm working with wordpress 2.6.2 and phpbb 3.02 with prosilver.
