Default Separating Blogs

I have been running my own website with Wordpress since June. Originally, it was simply a blog with a theme that I downloaded straight from Wordpress.

I have decided to transition the website to promote me as a musician now and have purchased the Church Theme to help me do this.

I would like to keep my personal blog as a part of this website, but not make it the main source of the site. Is there a way to take my old blog and keep it on the site along with all of its categories and keep it separate from the rest of the website?

Ideally the main page would have tour dates, news, and new music on it as the featured things. Then at the top I would have a bio, contact information, and the blog as other pages.

Thanks so much for the help. This is all very new and overwhelming to me.

~Craig
