Loss of left widget in the WP 2.9 upgrade

Hi,

I just upgraded to WP 2.9 on one of the blogs I manage - http://emmerogers.com I used the tips you had for fixing the errors. Thank you! They worked well.

My only continued difficulty is that I seem to have lost the option to show posts as 2 or 3 columns and as a result the left sidebar widget is currently unavailable on all new posts. How do I get it back?
