Unhappy I have no idea!!

I apparently am retarded. When I purchased a theme I thought it would be somewhat simple to be able to maneuver within the constraints of the theme. However, both my company's IT director and I have no clue as to what we are doing.

I want to change colors, fonts, etc. and can't do any of it, because I have no idea how to. When I read these posts they are just as confusing.

I had checked out WIX and that was easy, but I heard only great things about WordPress and StudioPress, but I am feeling extremely inadequate.

I just want someone to tell me exactly what I need to do.

<?php include(TEMPLATEPATH."/breadcrumb.php");?>

<?php if (have_posts()) : while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>

<div class="headline">

<div class="headlineleft">

<h1><?php the_title(); ?></h1>

this means absolutely nothing to me. I wouldn’t even know where to begin to change something. If anyone happens to have just a basic answer that the average person can understand I would be extremely grateful.....
