Categories Widget

I have the Categories Widget set to 'Show as dropdown', and the problem is that one of the category names is very long, and is extending the menu into the widget beside it, whether that category is selected or not. Looks ugly. Other than shortening the name, can I somehow set that widget to wrap the name to stay within it's boundaries?
