remove leave a comment

Sorry, I have been looking on the forums for a long time for this one.

I would like to remove the following from my blog page:
1. Posted by on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 · Leave a Comment (Edit

2. the about box with my picture.

3. Comments are closed.

I tried to remove the relevant code on the:
Blog Page Template (page_blog.php)

post_photo.php (post_photo.php)

then I even tried to remove the code on these two because I read on a forum post
Archives (archive.php)

Main Index Template (index.php)

But I can't make anything work.
