Video question

Just curious how you are setting the first frame of videos to show up at the beginning before starting it. Is this something that needs to be added to the beginning of the video outside of the template, or is there a way to add a .jpg overlay within the template. My current video starts out black and obviously that is all that shows up at the beginning. Thanks.
